Leaching of silver and gold containing ores of Artvin Cerattepe region

Abstract

In this study, the possibility of recovering silver and gold present in the ores obtained from Artvin-Cerattepe region (Türkiye), which is one of the reserves accepted as economically mineable is investigated. In the experiments, the effects of NaCN concentration, solid/liquid ratio, type of pH stabilizing reagent, addition of lead nitrate and particle size on the leaching recoveries of gold and silver are examined. Optimum leaching conditions are found as 1g/l NaCH, 0.4g/l $Ca(OH)_2$, 300g/t $Pb (NO_3)_2$, 10 % solid/liquid ratio, -0.075 mm particle size and 24 hours of leaching time. Approximately 50 % of silver and all of gold were leached under these conditions.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'de işletilebilir rezervler olarak gündeme gelen rezervlerden biri olan Artvin-Cerattepe yöresi altın ve gümüş içeren cevherlerden siyanür liçi ile altın ve gümüş kazanımı olanakları araştırmıştır. Deneylerde NaCN konsantrasyonu, katı/sıvı oranı, pH ayarlayıcı reaktif cinsi, kurşun nitrat ilavesi ve tane boyutunun altın ve gümüş çözüme verimleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Optimum çözündürme koşulları 1 g/l NaCN, 0.4 g/lCa(OH)_2$, 300 g/t $Pb(NO_3)_2$, % 10 katı/sıvı oranı, -0.075 mm tane boyutu ve 24 saat çözündürme süresi olarak saptanmıştır. Bu koşullarda gümüşün yaklaşık olarak % 50'si ve altının tamamı çözeltiye alınabilmiştir.
