Abstract

Scientists, who have studied the "Manas" epic noted story, ideological and artistic affinity with the Orkhon-Yenisei inscriptions. In particular, Scientists such as A. N. Bernshtam, R/ Kydyrbaeva and A. Bakirov, who have studied the origins of the epic, thinks that the life depicted in the Manas epic is based on the historical events and ethnographic occurrences of the Old Turkic period in the VII-X centuries. Indeed, there are many similarities between the "Manas" epic and the Old Turkic runic written monuments, the Old Turkic period. One of them is the attendants of monarchs and heroes. As it is known, Manas had always had forty choros. At the same time, in the Yenisey inscriptions are described about forty private. This similarity is examined in our paper.
