The Influences of Franz Brentano on the Modern West Philosophy

Abstract
Franz Brentano (1838-1917) had great influences on the philosophical thinking and especially on the psychological research of the 19th, 20th and 21st century. In this article is tried to explain the influences of Franz Brentano on the modern west philosophy, in accordance with the thesis of Brentano's students who are really important for the history of modern philosophy. The significant message and thesis of the article is history of modern philosophy begins with Franz Brentano's ideas. This theme is tried to support by historical and methodic reasons of modern west philosophy.

Bu makalede 19. 20. ve 21. yy. felsefe dünyasını ve özellikle de bu dönemlerdeki ruhbilim çalışmalarını derinden etkilemiş olan ünlü filozof Franz Brentano'nun (1838-1917) düşüncelerinin Modem Batı Felsefesi'ne etkileri; yetiştirdiği ve daha sonra her biri kendi alanında öncü olmuş filozofların düşüncelerinin irdelenmesiyle ve Brentano Felsefesi'nin karakteristik özellikleri aracılığıyla ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Günümüz felsefesinin derinliklerine inildiğinde Franz Brentano ile karşılaşacağımızı ve Modem Batı Felsefe Tarihi'nin Franz Brentano ile başlatılması gerektiğini savunan makale, bu tezi gerek tarihî gerekse sistematik verilerle desteklemektedir.
