Anal/perianal condyloma acuminata

Abstract

Condyloma accuminata is a genital human papillomavirus (HPV) infection which is very common with subclinical course and which causes problems in the social life. Although patients with genital warts usually perceive them as cosmetically disfiguring, it usually leads to adverse psychological symptoms for being a sexually transmitted disease, and most subjects with genital warts will request treatment. A wide variety of treatments are available for the disease and various individual subjects and disease factors mediate appropriate therapy choice. The nature of the disease and different treatment options are discussed in this review.

Kondiloma akuminata subklinik seyir gösteren, s›k görülen ve sosyal hayatta bir çok soruna neden olan bir genital insan papillomavirüs enfeksiyonudur. Genital si¤illeri olan hastalar her ne kadar bunu kozmetik bir sorunmufl gibi düflünseler de seksüel yolla bulaflabilir bir hastal›k olmas› dolay›s› ile psikolojik bozukluklara neden olabilir ve genital si¤illeri olan birçok hasta tedavi iste¤inde bulunur. Hastal›k için çok say›da tedavi yöntemleri mevcut olup farkl› bireysel faktörler uygun tedavi seçiminde etkilidir. Hastal›¤›n do¤al seyri ve farkl› tedavi seçenekleri bu derlemede tart›fl›lm›flt›r.
