Abstract

Objective: In this study, we aimed to assess sharps injuries occuring in a training and research hospital retrospectively and to clarify the current situation in order to reach conclusions and suggestions about the subject. Methods: The data was obtained from the notification forms with 18 questions filled by 124 health workers who were exposed to sharps injuries and applied to the infection control committee unit at the relevant dates. Amaç: Bu çalışmada bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesindeki kesici ve delici alet yaralanmaları retrospektif olarak incelenmişve mevcut durumun tespit edilip konu hakkında sonuç ve önerilere ulaşılması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntemler: Veriler, ilgili tarihlerde kesici ve delici alet yaralanmasına maruz kalmış ve infeksiyon kontrol komitesi biriminebaşvurmuş olan 124 sağlık çalışanının 18 adet soru içeren bildirim formlarından elde edilmiştir.
