Invasive Trichosporon Infection: A Report of Two Cases

Abstract
Trichosporon species usually cause superficial skin infections, however, they are capable of being an opportunistic invasive infectious agent in immunosuppressed patients especially with hematologic malignancies and solid organ tumors, or who are transplant recipients. Treatment of patients with trichosporonosis is problematic due to limited data on antifungal agents used. In this report, we present the combined antifungal therapy responses in two patients diagnosed as invasive trichosporonosis developed on the ground of hematologic malignancy during the reconstruction and renovation period of our hospital. Özet
Trichosporon türleri, çoğunlukla yüzeyel deri infeksiyonlarınasebep olurlarken, özellikle hematolojik maligniteleri ve solidorgan tümörleri olan veya transplant alıcısı immünosüpresehastalarda fırsatçı bir invazif infeksiyon ajanı da olabilirler.Trikosporonozlu hastaların tedavisi, kullanılan antifungal ajanlarhakkında etkene yönelik sınırlı veri nedeniyle sorun teşkiletmektedir. Bu yazıda hastanemizin inşaat ve yenileme dönemindeizlenen, hematolojik malignite zemininde gelişen invaziftrikosporonoz tanılı iki hastanın kombine antifungal tedaviyanıtları sunulmuştur.Klimik Dergisi 2018; 31(1): 67-70.
