Compressing neuromuscular bundles by giant thoracic lipoma

Abstract
A 41-year-old man presented with a mass of the posterior chest wall with intercostal neuralgia. Computerized tomography examination showed a soft tissue lesion underlying latissimus dorsi muscle of right hemithorax. After the tumour was excised totally, histology confirmed lipoma. We present here a rare case of intercostal neuralgia caused by a giant lipoma of the chest wall.Key words:
Özet
Kırk bir yaşında erkek hasta interkostal nevralji şikayeti yapan arka göğüs duvarı kitlesi ile başvurdu. Bilgisayarlı toraks tomografisinde sağ hemitoraksta latissimus dorsi kasının altında yumuşak doku lezyonu görüldü. Tümör total olarak eksize edildikten sonra, histolojisi lipom olarak raporlandı. Nadir olarak interkostal nevraljiye sebep olan dev göğüs duvarı lipomu bulunan bir olguyu sunduk.
