Abstract

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prelimi- nary results of acute acromioclavicular (AC) j oint inj uries withopen double button technique. Methods: Twelve patients ( 10 men, 2 women) treated withdouble button technique in AC j oint inj uries between August2009 and April 20 13 were included in the study. The mean agewas 32 (range: 2 1 5 1) years. Seven of the patients had type III, 2had type IV, and 3 had type V inj uries according to the Rockwoodclassification. TightRope® (Arthrex, Naples, Florida, USA) systemwas used to fix the AC j oint. The mean surgical time was recorded.Visual analog score (VAS) and Constant shoulder score (CSS) wasused in functional evaluation. Coracoclavicular (CC) distancewas measured in radiographic evaluation. Results: The average follow-up was 14.5 (range: 3 38) months.At the most-recent follow-up, 10 patients were exemplary, whilethe remaining 2 patients showed satisfactory functional results.The mean VAS score improved from 7.4±0.9 preoperatively to2. 1±0.9 postoperatively. Amaç: Çalışmamızda akut akromiyoklaviküler (AK) eklemyaralanmasında uyguladığımız açık çift düğme (button) tek- niğinin kısa dönem klinik ve radyolojik sonuçları değerlen- dirildi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Ağustos 2009 Nisan 2013 tarihleri arasıAK eklem hasarı nedeni ile çift düğme tespit yöntemi uygu- lanan 12 hasta (10 erkek, 2 kadın) çalışmaya alındı. Ortalamayaş 32 (dağılım, 21 51 yaş) idi. Olguların yedisinde Rockwoodtip III, ikisinde tip IV, üçünde tip V AK eklem hasarı tespit edil- di. Akromiyoklaviküler eklem tespiti için TightRope® sistemikullanıldı. Ortalama ameliyat süreleri kayıt edildi. Fonksiyoneldeğerlendirmede Vizüel Analog Skala (VAS) ve Constant omuzskoru (COS) kullanıldı. Radyolojik olarak korakoklaviküler (KK)mesafe ölçüldü.
