Example of rural tourism in Karaman, Sertavul

Abstract

Karaman has historical, geographical and cultural values. For this reason Karaman is one of the important centers in Turkey. There are numerous historical monuments in Karaman. Karaman has also a rich culture. Rural tourism is also important in this region. One of the best examples of this issues is Sertavul. It is very close to Karaman. There are small restaurants here. These small country restaurants are between Karaman and Mut. In this study, small country restaurants, traditional dishes and the region’s culture will be discussed. Also, the relationship of this issue with rural tourism will be examined. Sertavul will be introduced in every aspect.

Özet

Karaman, tarihi, coğrafi ve kültürel değerlere sahiptir. Bu nedenle Türkiye’deki önemli merkezlerden biridir. Karaman’da çok sayıda tarihi eser vardır. Karaman zengin bir kültüre de sahiptir. Kırsal turizm de bu bölgede önemlidir. Bu konudaki en iyi örneklerden biri Sertavul’dur. Burası Karaman’a çok yakındır. Burada küçük lokantalar vardır. Bu küçük kır lokantaları Karaman ve Mut arasındadır. Bu çalışmada Sertavul’daki küçük kır lokantaları, geleneksel yemekler ve bölgenin kültürü ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca bu konunun kırsal turizm ile ilişkisi incelenecektir. Sertavul her yönüyle tanıtılacaktır.
