Abstract

Objective: We retrospectively investigated the efficacy of combination of superficial cervicalplexus block (CPB) and local infiltration anesthesia in patients underwent carotidendarterectomy (CEA).Methods: After ethics approval, we searched medical records of patients who underwentCEA with combination of superficial CPB and local infiltration anesthesia performed beforesurgery. Data were given as mean±SD or number(%).Results: There were 22 patients (age: 68.9±9.2 yr, weight: 73.7±11.1 kg) who underwentCEA under defined anesthesia method from June 2007 to April 2011. The amounts of localanesthetics used for combination anesthesia and intraoperative supplementary anesthesia(95.4%) were 29.9±11.2 mL and 12.1±5.6 mL, respectively. All patients received fentanyl(87.5±52.1 µg) and midazolam (1.8±0.6 mg), and nine patients (40.9%) received propofol (

Özet

Amaç: Karotid endarterektomi (KE) uygulanan hastalarda süperfisyal servikal pleksus bloğu(SPB) ve lokal infiltrasyon anestezisi kombinasyonunun etkinliğini retrospektif olarakaraştırdık.Metod: Etik kurul onayı sonrası, cerrahi öncesi gerçekleştirilen süperfisyal SPB ve lokalinfiltrasyon anestezisi kombinasyonu ile KE uygulanan hastaların tıbbi kayıtlarını inceledik.Veriler ort.±SD veya sayı (%) olarak verildi.Sonuç: Haziran 2007'den Nisan 2011'e kadar tanımlanan anestezi metodu ile KE uygulanan22 hasta (yaş: 68.9±9.2 yıl, ağırlık: 73.7±11.1 kg) mevcuttu. Kombinasyon anestezisi veintraoperatif ilave anestezi (%95.4) için kullanılan lokal anesteziklerin miktarı 29.9±11.2 mLve 12.1±5.6 mL (sırasıyla) olarak bulundu. Tüm hastalara fentanil (87.5±52.1 µg) vemidazolam (1.8±0.6 mg) verildi, dokuz hastaya (40.9%) intraoperatif dönemde propofol (
