Erken Puberteye Neden Olan Bir Suprasellar Araknoid Kistin Endoskopik Tedavisi

Abstract

Suprasellar arachnoid cysts are uncommon developmental anomalies that are most oftendiagnosed in childhood. They constitute approximately 9% of all arachnoid cysts. These cystsrequire special consideration because of the unique location where they more commonlybecome symptomatic. Precocious puberty is rarely the presenting sign of suprasellararachnoid cyst. A rare case of suprasellar arachnoid cyst presenting with precocious puberty isreported. Treatment was via endoscopic ventriculocystocisternostomy. The case is describedand the advantages of endoscopic treatment of suprasellar arachnoid cyst is emphasized.

Suprasellar araknoid kistler genellikle çocukluk çağında teşhis edilen, yaygın olmayangelişimsel anomalilerdir. Tüm araknoid kistlerin yaklaşık %9'unu oluştururlar. Bu kistler,yerleşimlerinden dolayı daha sık semptomatik hale geldiklerinden özel dikkat gerektirir.Suprasellar araknoid kistler nadiren erken puberte belirtileri ile kendilerini gösterir. Buyazıda, erken puberte belirtileri ile kendini gösteren suprasellar araknoid kisti olan bir olgusunulmaktadır. Tedavide endoskopik ventrikülokistosisternostomi uygulandı. Olgu tarifedilerek, suprasellar araknoid kistlerin tedavisinde endoskopik girişimin avantajlarıvurgulandı.
