Determination of Diagnosis and Disease Severity, Hospital and Intensive Care Unit Admission Criteria in COVID-19

Abstract

The 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic is currently spreading worldwide; in particular, Turkey hasbeen facing the outbreak since March 11st. Hospital and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) admissions are dependenton the severity of illness and the capacity of the hospitals and ICUs are extremely important because ofowerhelmed capacity of beds. In this review determination of diagnosis and disease severity and hospital andintensive care unit admission criteria are written.
