The Structural Analysis of Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) Farms in Bayburt Province

Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to determine the structural characteristics of the farms producing rainbow trout in the province of Bayburt. The research data were collected from 8 farms using the complete inventory method with a survey. The data includes the activities of the farms in the year 2013. 62.5% of these farms use net cages to produce rainbow trout, while the remaining 37.5% use concrete pools on land. The population per farm is recorded as 1.6 person for the farms using net cages and 2.3 persons for those using concrete pools on land. The feed conversion rate of the farms was found as 1.10. In the farms, the sales weight of the portion-size trout was determined as 250 gr, and the sales weight of the trout fry was determined as 2-5 gr. As a result of the study, the current status and problems of rainbow trout farms were determined.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Bayburt ilinde alabalık yetiştiriciliği yapan işletmelerin yapısal özelliklerininbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri, 8 adet işletmeden tam sayım yöntemi ile anketsonucu elde edilmiştir. Veriler işletmelerin 2013 yılı faaliyetlerini kapsamaktadır. Bu işletmelerin%62,5’i ağ kafeslerde ve %37,5’i karada beton havuzlarda üretim yapmaktadır. İşletme başınadüşen nüfus miktarı ağ kafeslerde üretim yapan işletmelerde 1,6 kişi, karada üretim yapanişletmelerde 2,3 kişi olarak tespit edilmiştir. İşletmelerin yem dönüşüm oranı 1,10 olarak tespitedilmiştir. İşletmelerde porsiyonluk balık satış ağırlığı 250 gr, yavru balık satış ağırlığı 2-5 grolarak tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda alabalık çiftliklerinin mevcut durumu ve sorunlarıtespit edilmiştir.
