A report of a case with the coincidence of pregnancy and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

Abstract
We studied a 21 years old case with 36 weeks pregnancy, whose platelet count was founded as 11000K/uL in her routine controls. After performing advanced tests she was admitted to our clinic with the diagnosis of ITP and pregnancy. Steroid and İğ (İ.V.) were administrated for treatment.. As on the 15. day of her treatment, her labor started and the fetus position was transvers; we performed abdominal sectio emergently with the support of 10 units of platelet suspansion. We did not observe significant amount of bleeding during the operation and there was not any problems during the post operative period.
Özet
21 yaşında 36 haftalık gebeliği mevcut olan hastanın rutin kontrolleri sırasında trombosit sayısı 11000 K/uL olarak saptandı. Yapılan ileri tetkikler sonucunda hasta ITP ön tanısı ile tedavi altına alındı. Steroid ve Ig (I.V.) tedavisi başlandı. Tedavinin 15. gününde hastanın travaya girmesi ve fetal transvers geliş nedeni ile hasta 10 ünite trombosit süspansiyonu desteğinde acil sezeryana alındı. Operasyon esnasında önemli miktarda kanama olmadı. Postoperatif dönemde olguda herhangi bir problemle karşılaşılmadı.
