Abstract
As the successor of Asian Hsiung-nu State, The Late Hsiung-nu States are veryremarkable in the terms of both setting up a state in the land of China and tryingto execute the conducts of former state. Although these states which have notbeen researched very well by Turkish historians, ruled for a short time between4-5th centruies A.D., they were caused of important beginnigs for both Turkishand Chinese histories. Because of this it is needed to make a premilinary workabout the Chinese sources which include important information about these states. Because of some of these states believed in Buddhism it is supposed not toomit the sources about history of Chinese Buddhism beside the historical books.In this article it has been represented the information in the historical books ofChinese dynasties like Chin Shu, Shih-liu Kuo Ch un-ch iu, Wei Shu, Pei Shi, SungShu and the biography of monks' named "Kao Seng Ch'uan".

Geç Dönem Hun Devletleri Asya Hun Devletinin ardıl devletleri olup hem Çintopraklarında olmaları hem de eski devlet sistemlerini yürütmeye çalışmalarıaçısından oldukça dikkate şayan devletlerdir. M.S. IV-V. Yüzyılda bir buçuk asırlıkbir dönemde yaşamış, kısa ömürlü olmalarına rağmen hem Çin hem de Türk tarihine önemli başlangıçlara sebep olmuş bu devletler, Türk tarihçileri tarafındanpek fazla araştırılmamış bir dönemdir. Bu yüzden bu devletler hakkında bilgi veren Çin kaynakları hakkında da bir ön çalışma gerekmektedir. Bu devletlerdenbazıları Budhizm inancını kabul ettikleri için bilinen Çin hanedan yıllıklarının haricinde Çin Budhizm tarihiyle ilgili kaynakları da ihmal etmemek gerekir. Biz bu çalışmamızda Chin Shu, Shih-liu Kuo Chun-chiu, Wei Shu, Pei Shi, Sung Shu gibiçeşitli hanedan yıllıklarında hangi bölümlerde ne gibi bilgiler bulunduğunu su-narken Kao Seng Chuan adlı Rahipler biyografisinde de neler olduğunu göster-meye çalıştık.
