The operative treatment in temporomandibular luxation cases of cats

Abstract
In this study fortythree cases of mandibula lesions were evaluated. Temporomandibular luxation was determined in ten of these case and subluxation was seen in one case. These 11 cases represented 25 % of the total cases. For the treatment of the Temporomandibular luxation cases the lateral proccessus of the ramus mandibula proc. condylaris was resected and results of the operation were discussed. The case with subluxation was treated conservatively.
Özet
Bu çalışmada mandibula lezyonlu 43 olgu değerlendirildi. Bunların % 25 'ini oluşturan 11 olguda aynı anda temporomandibular luksasyon, Tinde subluksasyon görüldü. Temporomandibular luksasyonlu olguların sağaltımında ramus mandibulae'nin proc. condylaris'indeki lateral çıkıntının rezeksiyonu yapıldı ve operasyonun sonuçları tartışıldı. Subluksasyonlu olgu ise konservatif olarak sağıtıldı.
