General condition of animals aditted to KAÜ Veterinary Faculty, Internal Medicine Cilinics in 1999

Abstract

This survey was observed on the animals admitted to clinics of internal medicine of KAÜ. Veterinary Faculty in 1999. These animals were assesed according to species, sex and diseases. Number of ani-mals admitted was 628. These animals were cattle (88.54% - 556 / 628), cats and dogs (5.57% - 35 / 628), sheep (4.46% - 28 / 628) and horses ( 1.43% - 9 / 628). Animals submitted to the clinics consisted of 45.38% young (285 / 628) and 54.62 % adult (343 / 628). 744 case were diagnosed in submitted 628 animals. These cases were diagnosed in cattle (87.77% - 653 / 744), cats and dogs (6.32% - 47 / 744), sheep (4.57% - 34/ 744) and horses ( 1.34% - 10 / 744). Respiratory system diseases were most frequently diagnosed in all species (catt-le: 22.45% - 167 / 744, cats and dogs: 1.34% - 10/744, sheep: 1.75% -13/744, horses: 0.67% - 5 / 744). Respiratory system, TRP and neonatal problems in cattle were diagnosed more than half of total cases (51.08%) submitted to the clinics. Number of diseases increased from the begining of January to the begining of May and decreased from the begining of May to the end of December.

Bu gözlem, 1999 yılı içinde KAÜ Veteriner Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Kliniklerine kabul edilen hayvanlar üzerinde yapıldı. Bu hayvanlar tür, cinsiyet ve hastalıklara göre değerlendirildi. Sığır (%88.54-556 / 628), kedi ve köpek (%5.57-35 / 628), koyun (%4.46-28 / 628) ve at (% l .43-9 / 628) olmak üzere toplam 628 hayvan kabul edildi. Kliniklere getirilen hayvanların %45.38'le genç (285/628 ) ve %54.62 ile yetişkin di (343 / 628). Getirilen 628 hayvanda 744 hastalık durumu teşhis edildi. Bu hastalıklar, sığırlarda (%87.77- 653 / 744), kedi ve köpeklerde (%6.32-47 / 744), koyunlarda (%4.57-34 / 744) ve atlarda (% 1.34-10 / 744) teşhis edildi. Solunum sistemi hastalıkları tüm türlerde en çok teşhis edilen hastalıktı (sığır: %22.45-167 / 744, kedi ve köpek: %I.34-10 / 744, koyun: %1.75-13 / 744, at: %0.67-5 / 744). Sığırlarda ise solunum sistemi, RPT, neonatal problemler getirilen hayvanların yarısından fazlasında (%51.08) teşhis edildi. Hastalık sayılarının, Ocak başından Mayıs başına kadar arttığı, Mayıs başından Aralık sonuna kadar ise azaldığı saptandı.
