The fire danger ratings of Marmaris Forest Enterprise

Abstract
The main purpose of this research was to determine the fire dangerratings of Marmaris Forest Enterprise using a computer program. For this purpose the date and the beginning hours of the wildfires occured in years 1987 and 1996 in the Marmaris Forest Enterprise were examined. Then, the meteorological data of those days were obtained from the nearest meteorology stations. Consequently, the fire danger ratings of the enterprise were calculated.
Özet
Bu araştırma Muğla Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Marmaris Orman İşletmesi'nde çıkabilecek bir yangın ihtimalinin saptanması (Yangın Tehlike Oranı) amacıyla yapılmıştır. Söz konusu işletme sınırları dahilinde 1987 -1996 yılları arasında çıkan her bir yangının çıktığı gün ve saatlere ait meteorolojik veriler en yakın meteoroloji istasyonlarından alınmış daha sonra matematiksel yöntemler ve bilgi işlem yardımıyla yangın tehlike oranının hesaplanması yoluna gidilmiştir.
