Researches on the lepidoptera fauna of Kapıdağ peninsula

Abstract
Kapıdağ Peninsula is located on the south coast of Marmara Sea, between Erdek on the west and Bandırma Gulf on the east. The aim of this study is to has been conducted determine the Lepidoptera Fauna and the important species destructive to forest trees of the Kapıdağ Peninsula. The research between the years of 2004-2005. According to results of this the study 86 species of 19 different families were distingueshed living in this area.
Özet
Kapıdağ Yarımadası, Marmara Denizi' nin güney kıyısında batıda Erdek, doğuda Bandırma Körfezlerinin arasmda yer almaktadır. Bu çalışma ile 2004-2005 yılları içerisinde yarımadanın kelebek faunası tespit edilmiş ve ormancılık açısından önemli olanlar belirlenmiştir. 2004-2005 yıllarım kapsayan bu çalışma sonucunda 19 familyaya ait 86 tür bulunmuştur.
