Predictability of specific charge from rock properties and comminution theory fundamentals in bench blasting

Abstract
Within the scope of this study, predictability of specific charge from comminution concept has been investigated in order to support previous investigations carried out on the "basis of rock and explosive properties and it has been determined that it will be possible to use work index as a parameter to estimate powder factor.To elaborate on this problem, seven various rock units have been prepared for blasting considerations and the related bench blasting applications have been performed in the field. At the end of evaluations some relationships were developed and suggested for further use in the mining industry.

Bu çalışmada, basamak patlatmasında kaya ve patlayıcı madde özelliklerini esas alan yaklaşımları desteklemek amacıyla özgül şarjın, boyut küçültme teorisinden yararlanılarak tahmin edilebilirliği konusu incelenmiş ve iş indeksinin özgül şarjın tahmininde kullanılabilecek bir parametre olduğu yargısına varılmıştır. Bu amaçla yedi farklı kaya birimi üzerinde gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar sonucu konuyla ilgili bazı bağıntılar önerilmiştir.
