Abstract
The strong biological mediatörs present within the mast cells are responsible for the local inflammatory reactions. Various situations of stress do cause degranulation of the mast cells. The first reaction occurring against the allergens is the degranulation of mast cells thus causing histamin release. In this study, the allergic reaction against three different types of pure local anesthetics were examined by observing the degranulation of the mast cells by EM. Prilocain group was found to be causing the most increase in mast cells and within these cells the strongest stimulation was observed fallowing this anesthetic group, lidocaine and articain were found to be effective in order of mast to the least effective.
