Abstract
Elective splenopexy in wandering spleen. Wandering spleen is a rare anomaly. The spleen is suspended only by its hiler vessels and portion of gastrosplenic ligament. Almost all of repor¬ted cases presented as torsion of the spleen. The mortality rate of postsplenectomy sepsis is very high in children, thus recent reports suggest splenopexy for wandering spleen. We report a case'of preoperative diagnosis and elective splenopexy for this condition.
Özet
"Wandering" dalak oldukça nadir görülen bir anomalidir, bu anomalide dalağı yalnızca gast-rosplenik bağ ve hilustaki damarlar yerinde tutar, bu nedenle dalağın torsiyon riski oldukça yüksektir. Çocuklarda postsplenektomi sepsisi yüksek mortalite oranı ile seyrettiğinden son yıllarda "Wandering"dalak olgularında elektif splenopeksi önerilmektedir. Çalışmamızda elek-tif splenopeksi uygulanan bir "Wandering"dalak olgusu sunulmuştur.
