Abstract
A Case who has granülomatous lymphadenopaty which mimicked malignant lymphoma: Cat scratch disease in differential diagnosis. Cat scratch disease mainly affects children and yo-ung adults in whom usually presents as a bening, self limited lymphadenopathy. Bartonella henselae is the primary agent of this disease and is diagnosed on the basis of serological tech-nique and direct identification by PCR from lymph node tissue. Occasionally systemic symptoms and jeneralize lymphadenopathy occur and the disease may simulate malignant lymphoma. It is presented a case who has splenic hipodens lesions and cervical and intraabdominal lymphadenopathy which mimick malign lymphoma. Cat scratch disease is considered by excisionel biopsy of lymph node, showing specific antibody of Bartonella henselae and resolving of all the lesions without treatment. This disease should be considered in child and young adult patients with regional and generalise lymphadenopathy and unnecessary invasive procedure should be avoided.
