Prosthetic rehabilitation in tal and dental class III malocclusion

Abstract
Prognathism is a serious social and junctional impediment. It's correction is eseiitial to restore function and esthetics in the oral and behavioral rehabilitation of a prognathous pa¬tient. The class III anomalies may be in volume or in position. In volumetric anomalies mandibula is bigger than its normal volume and this is the real class III case. In this article, periodontal, orthodontic and prosthodontic treatment approach as a combined treatment were descri¬bed to esthetic and function of an adult patient with class III malocclusion.

Prognatizm ciddi sosyal ve fonksiyonel bir engeldir. Prognatik bir hastanın oral ve davranışsal rehabilitas¬yonu için fonksiyon ve estetiğini restore etmek gerekir. III. sınıf anomaliler hacımsal veya konumsal kaynaklı olabilmektedir. Hacımsal anomalilerde mandibulada yapısal bir büyüklük söz konusudur ve bu olgular ger¬çek III. sımf olgulardır. Bu makalede, III. sınıf maloklüzyonlu yetişkin bir bi¬reyde estetik ve fonksiyonu sağlamak amacıyla perio-dontolojik, ortodontik ve protetik kombine bir tedavi yaklaşımı anlatılmaktadır.
