The effect of tooth whiteners on the oral tissues

Abstract
In the last decade, tooth-bleaching procedures have been used extensively. Materials such as hydrogen peroxide at different concentrations, sodium perborate and carbamide peroxide are generally used for bleaching purposes. In this ar¬ticle, the effects of these materials on the oral tis¬sues is summarized.

Son on yılda diş beyazlatıcı maddeler yaygın ola¬rak kullanılmaktadır. Beyazlatma amacıyla, ge¬nellikle farklı konsantrasyonlarda hidrojen pe¬roksit, sodyum perborat ve karbamid peroksit kullanılır. Bu derlemede, bu tip maddelerin ağız dokuları üzerine olan etkileri özetlenmiştir.
