Özet
Lösemi tedavisi için kemoterapi alan hastalarda oral mukoza komplikasyonları görülebilir. Kemoterapinin oral komplikasyonları mukozit, infeksiyon, kanama, kserostomi, nörolojik bozukluklar ve beslenme bozukluklarıdır. Olgumuz 4 yıl önce kronik myeloid lösemi tanısı konulan, hydroxyurea ve iııterferon tedavisi gören, iki yıldır ağız mukozasında rekürrent aftöz ülserler görülen hastadır. Amacımız kemoterapi alan hastalarda oral komplikasyonların önlenmesi için dişhekimlerinin neler yapabileceğini tartışmaktadır.
