Adult Patients with Ovarian and Tubal Inguinal Hernia Sac: A Case Report

Abstract
Inguinal hernia is common in general surgical practice and is one of the diseases commonly operated on. Inside the hernial sac, omentum and small intestines are often found and at times there may be any of the pel- vic organs. While the cases in which the ovaries and tubes are the contents of the hernial sac are usually observed in the pediatric population, the same situation might be seen in adults as well. In this article we present an adult patient with an irreductable inguinal hernia, the contents of which are the ovary and fallopian tube.
Özet
İnguinal herniler genel cerrahi pratiğinde sık karşılaşılan ve cerrahisi sıkyapılan hastalıklardandır. Herni kesesi içerisinde sıklıkla omentum ve incebarsaklar olmakla birlikte pelvik organlardan herhangi biri de bulunabilir.Over ve tubanın herni kesesi içeriğini oluşturduğu olgular genellikle pediatrikpopulasyondan olmakla birlikte yetişkinlerde de bu durum görülebilir.Biz bu makalede içeriğini over ve tubanın oluşturduğu irreduktablinguinal hernili yetişkin hastayı sunuyoruz.
