Some Considerations About Mevlânâ Muslihuddîn (d. 894/1489) buried in Abû Aiyub al-Ansârî Cemetery

Abstract

In this study, the knowledge of the 15th century witness, which is written on the tomb of Abu Aiyûb al-Ansari and written by Mevlânâ Muslihuddîn (d. 894/1489), was examined and determined. Because it cannot be determined exactly which science belongs to the information on it. In this context, the lives of the scholars named Hocazâde Muslihuddîn and Muslihuddîn Kastallânî, which were prominent in the mentioned century and bearing the same name, were examined. Again within the scope of this study, the witness of Mevlânâ Muslihuddîn (d. 894/1489) was examined. However, it was concluded that the said person did not belong to the two scholars who became famous in the 15th century, and despite the researches, the owner of the person could not be identified.

Özet

Bu çalışmada Ebû Eyyûb el-Ensârî’nin türbesi haziresinde yer alan ve üzerinde MevlânâMuslihuddîn’e (ö. 894/1489) ait olduğu yazılı olan 15. yüzyıla ait mezar taşındaki bilgilerincelenmiştir. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda Muslihuddîn olarak hangi âlimin kastedildiği tespitedilmeye çalışılmıştır. Zira üzerindeki bilgilerden hangi âlime ait olduğu kesinlikkazanamamaktadır. Bu kapsamda söz konusu yüzyılda öne çıkan ve aynı ismi taşıyan HocazâdeMuslihuddîn ve Muslihuddîn Kastallânî adlı âlimlerin hayatları incelenmiş, mevcut bilgilerışığında mezar taşları ele alınıp, Ebû Eyyûb el-Ensârî’nin türbesi haziresinde yer alan âlim olupolmadıkları karşılaştırılarak araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırma neticesinde, söz konusu mezar taşının 15.yüzyılda meşhur olan iki âlime de ait olmadığı sonucuna varılmış ve yapılan tüm araştırmalararağmen mezar taşının asıl sahibi tespit edilememiştir.
