Abstract

Environmental noise which is a negative effect on workman health and work security is a social problem of our country that is on the process of industrial development. This problem cause sensorineural permanent hearing loss that is a result of negative effects on industrial workman, especially. Endüstriye/ gelişim sürecinde bulunan ülkemizde ortaya çıkan birçok sosyaı problem arasında işçi sağlığı ve iş güvenliğini tehdit eden gürültü kirliliği problemi ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Bu problem toplumun bütün kesimlerim olumsuz yönde etkilemekle beraber daha çok endüstri alanında çalışan işçileri etkilemektedir. Bunun sonucu olarak, sensorinöral tipte kalıcı işitme kaybı oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda; ilimizde bulunan şeker fabrikasının değişik gürültü düzeyli ünitelerinde çalışan 101 işçinin işitme eşik seviyeleri ölçüldü ve gürültünün neden olduğu işitme kaybı araştırıldı.
