The clinical importance of slime productıon

Abstract
In this review, we emphasize the importance of slime production of coagulase-negative staphylococi (CoNS) andCandida spp. and clinical significance of this factor. We explaned the characteristics and detection methods of slimefactor and several factors affecting the adhesion. Meanwhile, the structure of the biofilm and its influence of thevirulence were reassessed comprehensivly.
Özet
Bu derlemede koagülaz negatif stafilokoklar (KNS) ve Candida kökenlerinde slime faktör üretimi ve bu faktörünklinik önemi üzerinde durulmu tur. Slime faktörün özellikleri ve tesbit yöntemleri açıklanmı , adezyonu etkileyençe itli faktörler üzerinde durulmu tur. Bu arada biyofilmin yapısı, virulans üzerine etkisi etraflı bir ekilde gözdengeçirilmi tir.
