The ideas of teachers working in elementary schools about voice health and protection

Abstract

The voice health is very important for the jobs in which the voice is used professionally. For using the voice in long terms, one should pay attention to the voice health and protection. Teachers are also among the people who earn their leaving through their voices. This research is done in order to analyse the ideas of teachers about voice health and protection. The teachers who took place in this research are mainly working in elemantry schools. For analysing the data, percentage, frequency and t tests are used. In accordance with gender variables, it is stated that the voice of female teachers get more tired and degraded, when compared to the male teachers.

Özet

Ses saglıgı, sesin profesyonel anlamda kullanıldıgı meslekler için çok önemlidir. Uzun süreli ses kullanımı için, ses saglıgı ve korunmasına dikkat etmek gerekmektedir. Hayatını sesiyle kazanan meslekler arasında ögretmenlik meslegi de bulunmaktadır. Bu çalısma, "lkögretim Okullarında görev yapan ögretmenlerin ses saglıgı ve korunmasına iliskin görüslerini incelemek için yapılmıstır. Verilerin analizinde yüzde, frekans ve t testi kullanılmıstır. Cinsiyet degiskenine göre bayan ögretmenlerin seslerinin erkek ögretmenlere göre daha fazla yoruldugu ve bozuldugu belirlenmistir.
