Abstract

The fungal flora of indoor air in 20 houses in Elazığ was investigated using open petri dish method. In each house during sweeping time Sabouraud-Dextrose-Agar plates were left open for three days a week for three months. The plates were then incubated and grown fungi were identified. Out of a total of 2160 plates fungi grew in 1956 (90.6 %). The most frequently isolated fungi were Penicillium. Asperaillus. Mucor. Rhizopus and Alternaria species.

Elazığ'ın değişik bölgelerinde yer alan 20 evde, üç ay, haftanın üç günü ev süpürüldüğü anda iki Sabouraud-Dextrose-Agar (SDA) besiyeri açılarak Elazığ İli ev içi mantar florası araştırıldı. Açılan 2160 besiyerinin 1956 (% 90.6)'sında üreme oldu. En sık izole edilen mantarlar Penicillium. Asperaillus. Mucor. Rhizopus ve Alternaria idi.
