Abstract

In this study, 11 cases of posttraumatic meningitis hospitalized in the Clinic of Infectious Diseases, Dr. Behçet Uz Children's Hospital, between 1989 and 1994, were investigated and the serum C3 levels, lumbal puncture results, etiologic agents isolated and advanced techniques used in the diagnosis of bone defects in the cranium were restrospectively evaluated.

Özet

Bu çalışmada 1989-1994 yılları arasında Dr. Behçet Uz Çocuk Hastanesi İntaniye Kliniği'nde posttravmatik rekürren meninjit tanısı ile izlenen 11 olgu incelenmiş ve bunların kan komponentlerinden C3 düzeyleri, lomber ponksiyon bulguları, saptanabilen etiyolojik ajanları, kraniyumdaki kemik defektini saptayacak ileri tanı yöntemleri gözden geçirilmiştir.
