Antibacterial effect of serum on pseudomonas aeruginosa strains

Abstract
In order to determine the antibacterial effect of human serum, 86 Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains were investigated for serum sensitivity by using Benge's method. Seventy-two (83.7 %), eight (9.3 %), and six (6.9 %) P. aeruginosa strains were found to be serum-resistant, serum-intermediate sensitive and serum-sensitive, respectively.

insan serumunun antibakteriyel etkinliğini saptamak amacıyla 86 Pseudomonas aeruginosa susunun insan serumuna duyarlılığı Benge yöntemi ile incelendi. Pseudomonas aeruginosa suşlannın 72'si (% 83.7) serum-dirençli, sekizi (% 9.3) serum-orta duyarlı ve altısı (% 6.9) ise serum duyarlı bulundu.
