Imipenem in the treatment of Listeria monocytogenes meningitis

Abstract
A 61-year-old male case of meningitis caused by a Listeria monocytogenes, resistant to ampicillin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and rifampin and intermediately sensitive to penicillin was treated successfully with imipenem.
Özet
Altmış-bir yaşındaki erkek hastada ampisilin, trimetoprim-sulfametoksazol ve rifampisine dirençli, penisiline orta duyarlı bir Listeria monocytogenes kökeninin oluşturduğu meninjit imipenem ile tedavi edilmiştir.
