Abstract

The study was carried out in order to determine the frequency of Rothia dentocariosa in throat flora of healthy hospital staff. Twenty-one (10.5%) R dentocariosa strains were isolated from 200 throat cultures. There was no significant difference between the isolates with respect to occupation and department of the hospital staff.

Özet

Bu çalışma sağlıklı hastane personeli boğaz florasında Rothia dentocariosa'nın sıklığını saptamak amacı ile yapıldı. Toplam 200 boğaz kültürünün 21 (%10.5)'inden R. dentocariosa izole edildi. Hastane çalışanlarının mesleklerine ve bölümlerine göre izolasyonların dağılımında fark saptanmadı.
