Abstract
The purpose of this paper was to present the therapeutic problems encountered in a 50-year-old female with Type II diabetes mellitus who had an ulcer on the dorso-lateral and plantar surface of her left foot infected with a nosocomial strain of metallo-beta-lactamase producing Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, 50 yaşındaki Tip-ll Diabetes mellitus hastası olan bir kadında, sol ayağının dorso-lateral ve plantar bölgesindeki diyabetik ülserin hastanede yattığı sırada metallo-beta-laktamaz üreten bir Klebsiella pneumoniae susu ile infekte olması üzerine bu yaranın antibiyotikle sağaltımında karşılaşılan sorunlar anlatılmıştır.
