A case of subhepatic abscess due to Salmonella paratyphi B

Abstract
Focal Salmonella infections may affect different sites in the body, causing different disorders. A subhepatic abscess caused by Salmonella paratyphi B in a 61-year-old type II diabetic woman is reported. The patient was completely cured with surgical intervention and antibiotic therapy.
Özet
Fokal Salmonella infeksiyonlarl vücutta değişik bulgularla farklı hastalıklara yol açabilir. Burada tip II diyabeti olan ve Salmonella paratyphi B'nin neden olduğu bir subhepatik apse gelişen 61 yaşındaki kadın hasta sunulmuştur. Olgu, cerrahi ve antibiyotik sağaltımı ile iyileşmiştir.
