Abstract
Actinomycosis is a rarely diagnosed suppurative infection caused by Actinomyces spp., most frequently by A. israelii. Actinomyces naeslundii is an uncommon agent in extra-oral actinomycosis. In this paper, a 54-year-old male case of actinomycosis of the neck due to A. naeslundii who had undergone laryngectomy because of carcinoma is presented.
