Özet

Having a disabled child brings a great deal of responsibility to the parents, necessitates self-sacrifice and psychologically damages the parents, leading to burnout syndrome. The main purpose of this study is to look into life quality, family functionality and burnout levels of parents with disabled children. The sample consists of 107 disabled children’s parents and employed Demographic form, Family Assessment Scale, Maslach Burnout Scale and, Life Quality scale. The findings show that the level of burnout differs based on the type and level of disability of the child. In additionparents with high level of education have more psychological burnout then parents with low levels of education
