Abstract
This study examines the financing problems faced by small and medium-sized enterprises and analyzes the effects of the Credit Guarantee Fund Facilities in solving these problems. This study is about the identification of the main funding issues of SMEs, with respect to the practices and implementation examples in the world, A particularly emphasis is given to Turkey for the year 2017, where excessive usage of Credit Guarantee Fund made a bold remark and has had an important impact on SMEs. The study contains a questionnaire survey, conducted on SME Portfolios operating regionally in Istanbul within different demographic structures. The analysis of the Likerd Scale and CGF loans, their perceptions and the effects of CGF loans on SME financing problems were subject matters of Analysis as well.
