A Comparison of Teachers' Empathic Tendency in terms of Demographic and Professional Variables

Abstract

In this study, empathic tendency skills of teachers, gender, marital status, seniority, level of education, occupation and profession willingly choose to be satisfied with the status, such as graduated from the faculty in terms of a number of variables were compared. To collect data, developed by Dökmen "Empathic Tendency Scale" and a personal information form. Data were analyzed using Analyzis of Nonparametric. At the end of the statistical procedures, the difference is significant in terms of marital status, consisting of empathic skills seen in the trend, and the results are discussed in terms of the scientific literature.

Bu çalışmada, öğretmenlerin empatik eğilim becerileri, cinsiyet, medeni durum, kıdem, eğitim düzeyi, mesleği isteyerek seçme ve meslekten memnun olma durumları, mezun olunan fakülte gibi birtakım değişkenler bakımından karşılaştırıldı. Verileri toplamak amacıyla, Dökmen tarafından geliştirilen "Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği" ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada parametrik olmayan istatistik kullanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistik işlemleri sonunda, empatik eğilim becerilerinin medeni durum bakımından manidar fark oluşturduğu görülmüş ve çıkan sonuçlar bilimsel literatür bakımından tartışılmıştır.
