Islamic Philosophical Studies in Uzbekistan

Abstract

Turkey has experienced great development in recent years in studies related to Islamic Philosophy. The validation, translation and analysis of texts belonging to the classical pe-riod are among the best examples of this development process. The research conducted in the field of Islamic philosophy in the West is also followed closely in Turkey. However, it is not pos-sible to say that the same interest exists for studies from the East. Studies carried out in the field of Islamic Philosophy, es-pecially in the USSR, are less well known. This article aims to introduce some of the works carried out in the field of Islamic Philosophy in Uzbekistan both during the period of the USSR and period following independence.

Özet

Türkiye’de son yıllarda İslam Felsefesi ile ilgili yapılan ça-lışmalarda büyük gelişme yaşanmaktadır. Klasik döneme ait metinlerin tahkik, tercüme ve tahlil edilmesi bunun en güzel örneklerindendir. Batı’da İslam Felsefesi alanında gerçekleştiri-len araştırmalar da Türkiye’de yakinen takip edilmektedir. An-cak aynı ilginin Doğu’da yapılan çalışmalar için gösterildiğini söyleyebilmek mümkün değildir. Özellikle SSCB’de İslam Fel-sefesi alanında yapılan çalışmalar daha az bilinmektedir. Bu makalede hem SSCB döneminde hem de Bağımsızlık sonrasın-da Özbekistan’da İslam Felsefesi alanında gerçekleştirilen bazı çalışmaların tanıtılması amaçlanmaktadır.
