Abstract
This article examines the theses written by the students at the Orthodox Theology School of Chalki and argues that these theses contributed not only to the preservation of the church language ,,Katharevusa" but also helped to form a common religious and national identity for the orthodox Greek population

Bu makale Heybeliada Ortodoks Ruhban Okulu"nda öğrenciler tarafından hazırlanan tezlerin genel bir değerlendirmesini yaparak, bu tezlerin hem kilise dili ,,Katharevusa" nın muhafaza edilmesine hem de Ortodoks Rum halkın ortak bir dini ve milli kimliğinin oluşmasına katkıda bulunduğunu tespit etmektedir
