Abstract

Based on British archival documents, this article aims to explain activities and strategies of Russia towards Iran at the beginning of the 20th century. In this context, the annual reports of the British Archives with different code numbers and covering the general situation of Iran in the years 1906-1907 were examined and it is emphasized how the constitutional movement in Iran and the current economic position of this country provide to Russia

Bu makale; Rusya’nın XX. yüzyılın başında İran’a yönelik stratejilerini ve faaliyetlerini İngilizarşiv belgeleri ışığında açığa çıkarmayı amaç edinmektedir. Bu konu kapsamında İngiliz Arşivindefarklı kod numaraları ile yer alan ve İran’ın 1906-1907 seneleri içerisindeki genel durumunu konuedinen yıllık raporlar incelenerek İran’da meydana gelen meşruti hareketin ve bu ülkenin mevcutekonomik konumunun Rusya’ya ne tür kazançlar sağladığı üzerinde durulmuştur.
