Abstract
The Caspian Sea is as similar to an inland sea where various products belonging to the surrounding countries are circulated. It also provides a short link route between the Fur Route in the north and the Silk Route in the south. The Caspian Sea, if exceptional circumstances such as the Viking and the Mongolian Occupations are to be ignored, offers a very secure trading space for merchants compared to all other marines. Piracy activities in this area are not organized and are not important. However, it is far from offering a comfortable journey for its guests and has a dangerous gigantic wave. Among the commodities of economic value offered by the Caspian Sea are various fishes, glue-like materials obtained from these fishes, shark's skin and nafts, red roots, black paint, hunter birds obtained from various islands of this sea. Derbend, Itil, Abeskûn, Cîl, Semender and Baku, which are the main ports in this sea, are port-cities that have lively trade with each other.
