Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the laying performance and mortality rate of Hisex Brown hens housed in different cage densities. Three groups, which have 495.0 (Group 1), 412.5 (Group 2) and 353.5 (Group 3) cm2 area per hen respectively, were evaluated in this study. Each group was represented by 8 replicate groups of two adjacenetly cages of 5, 6 and 7 hence per cage. Thus, the data were obtained from 80, 96 and 112 hens each group respectively. The laying performance values were found as 82.5, 79.3 and 81.6% (hen-day), total eggs number per hen 277.3, 266.6 and 274.4, the mortality rates 13.8, 11.5 and 14.3%, daily consumptions of feed 119.6, 109.7 and 109.6 g (p

Bu araştırma, yumurta tavuklarının kafeste farklı yerleşim sıklığında yumurta verim performanslarını ve ölüm oranlarını teSpit etmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, tavuk başına 495.0 (1. grup), 412.5 (2. grup) ve 353.5 (3. grup) cm2 kafes alanı olmak üzere 3 sıklık grubu oluşturulmuştur. Her grup ikişer kafeslik 8 tekrardan oluşmuştur. Gruplarda her kafese sırasıyla 5, 6 ve 7 tavuk konulmuştur. Böylece veriler, gruplarda aynı sıra ile 80, 96 ve 112 adet tavuktan alınmıştır.
