Abstract
This article examines the impact of March 31 Uprising on the Ottoman military and presents that the active involvement of the Ottoman army in the reenactment of the Ottoman constitution in 1908 and the subsequent March 31 Uprising in the following year brought politics in the army and weakened its power and military capabilities

Bu makale 31 Mart İsyanı'nın Osmanlı ordusu üzerindeki etkilerini inceleyerek, Osmanlı ordusunun II. Meşrutiyetin ilanı ve 31 Mart İsyanında aktif rol almasının, siyaseti ordunun içine sokması sonucu ordunun gücünü ve savaşçı kabiliyetini olumsuz etkilediğini tespit etmektedir
