Abstract

Present study was performed to determine the effects of threonine (thr) addition to diets containing high protein on performance traits of laying Japanese quail. The birds were fed corn-soybean based diets providing 3000 kcal/kg ME, 24 % CP, 1.25 % lysine, 0.55 % methionine and these levels remained constant thorough 70 days experimental period. The experiment groups are as follow; 0.90 % thr (group-I), 1.00 % thr (group-II) or 1.10 % thr (group-III). Mevcut çalışma, yüksek seviyede ham protein içeren rasyonlara, farklı seviyelerde eksojen treonin katkısının, yumurtlayan genç Japon bıldırcınlarının performans özelliklerine etkisini saptamak için yapılmıştır. Kuşlar, 3000 kkal/kg ME, % 24 HP, % 1.25 lisin, % 0.55 metiyonin ve sırasıyla % 0.90 (I.grup), % 1.00 (II.grup) ve % 1.10 (III.grup) treonin içeren rasyonlarla 70 gün yenilenmişlerdir. Yumurta verimi ve yumurta ağırlıkları bakımından gruplar arasında gözlemlenen farklılıklar önemli olup (P
