Reconstruction of the rupture of superior mesenteric artery with saphenous vein (A case report)

Abstract
Superior mesenteric artery aneurysm is a rare condition and compromise only 5.5% of all visceral artery aneurysms. Aneurysms at this site are very susceptible to rupture to intraabdoman or duodenum, irrespective of si-ze and may be difficult to manage even in the elective conditions. Treatment of choice is obliteration of aneurysms and reconstruction of artery. Here we reported a 45 years old man with SMA aneurysm perforated to gastrointestinal tract. Aneurysm is obliterated and patency of artery reconstructed with saphenous vein successfully.
Özet
Superior mezenter arter anevrizması çok nadir olarak görülür. Viseral arter anevrizmalarının %5.5' ini oluşturur. Büyüklüğü ne kadar olursa olsun karın içine veya duodenuma rupture olma riski yüksektir. Elektif şartlarda bile müdahalesi oldukça zor olabilir. Anevrizma oblitere edilerek gerektiğinde arterin rekonstrüksiyonu sağlanmalıdır. SMA anevrizması nedeni ile üst gastrointestinal kanama geçiren 45 yaşındaki olguda acil şartlarda anevrizmanın obliterasyonu ve başarılı olarak safen ven ile rekonstrükte edilmesi sunulmuştur.
